1. Can you use Physio-Plate immediately after a meal?
Leave at least one hour after a meal before using the Physio Plate. Half an hour before using it, it is a good idea to have a glucose sports drink. Vibration Plate training causes a drop in blood glucose levels.

2. Can people suffering from diabetes use Physio-Plate?
Because Physio-Plate training causes a drop in blood glucose levels, ask for advice from your doctor. Generally Physio-Plate is suitable exercise for diabetic people.

3. Can we use Physio-plate if we suffer from varicose veins?
Using Physio-plate stimulates and improves blood circulation. This means it is good for people with varicose veins. It will not make varicose veins disappear but it will help with the factors that cause varicose veins. Consult your doctor if concerned.

4. Should we avoid any particular position while standing on the vibration plate?
On the vibration plate there are some positions and specific movements which it is best to avoid. We suggest you follow the positions suggested in the Exercise Library.

5. Can Physio-Plate training be considered as Fitness training?
The training on Physio-Plate lets you achieve all the results that can be usually obtained by carrying out a normal fitness training. For best results you do need to combine vibration training with aerobic cardio-vascular training.

6. Can an elderly people train with Physio-Plate?
Vibration Plate training limits bone loss and stimulates an increase of the bone mass and is therefore useful as a treatment for Osteoporosis. Vibration Therapy also increases blood circulation. Vibration therapy helps reduce blood viscosity and increases the average speed of the circulatory flow (Kerschan and coll., 2001). Peripheral circulation can increase by up to 150%, with beneficial effects on the metabolism and transport of oxygen to muscle tissues. Physio-Plate is therefore particularly useful for people suffering from circulatory diseases such as arteriosclerosis or insufficient lymphatic drainage.

7. Can young people train with Physio-Plate?
For people aged 0-16 we suggest you use Physio-plate under the control of medical or specialised staff.

8. Should I train with Physio-Plate before or after the cardiovascular training?
You can use Physio-plate exercises at any point in your training programme. The Warm up programme is suitable before starting any physical activity while the Relaxant Massage Programme is good for relaxing the muscles after training.

9. Does the PhysioPlate training improve flexibility?
Yes, as it improves joint mobility. Also by using Physio-Plate in different positions (as shown in the Exercise Library) you can stretch the different muscles that will get relaxed as soon as you get off the vibration plate.

10. Can I use Physio Plate with bare feet?
It is best to use Physio-Plate wearing shoes (better if sports shoes) although more for hygiene reasons.

11. Is it normal to feel itch on legs and calves during and after the training?
Yes, this does happen sometimes with new users. Because Physio Plate workouts stimulate the blood circulation some people experience an itchy feeling in their legs before their body gets used to it. As you use it more often this should diminish. If not, stop the treatments for two weeks and restart.

12. How many Physio-plate training sessions per week are suggested?
To get the best results in a short time use Physio-plate at least 3 times per week.

The Wave Wellness is our mid-range product and has uses the touch screen technology of the Physio Plate Gold but it has a less powerful motor and fewer programmes. The Wave Wellness is considered ideal for semi-professional use - it is durable enough for use in fitness centres but appeals most to the demanding home user.

The GVide 200 is designed purely for home use. It is one of the best value vibration plates on the market and has a good range of programmes but you will need to set your own parameters as there is no programmable touchscreen control.

Vibration plates are VERY heavy. Because of that we use specialist shippers to transport them to you. We usually ship in two parts for you to assemble at home. Make sure that when it arrives you know exactly where you want ot to go.
