Water Distiller UK – THE purest water

This is THE Lowest Price on the Internet for a stainless steel home water distiller of this quality with a LIFETIME MONEYBACK GUARANTEE and 1 year manufacturer's warranty

Have you ever tasted absolutely pure water?

Most tap water contains a mix of pollutants.  Even bottled and filtered waters contain impurities.

And the problem is, if you do not filter them out before you drink your water, your body ends up doing the filtering.

The only guaranteed way to get the absolute purest water is steam distillation using a home water distiller. Distilled water is 99.8% pure water. By using a home water distiller you get water that is purer than any bottled or tap water and purer than any other type of filtration or purification method.

Water distiller UK - How the Megahome 943SBS Deluxe Water Distiller works

With our home water distiller the water is first gently boiled. This kills off viruses and bacteria and leaves most of the pollutants behind. The steam is then captured in a stainless steel coil where it cools to form pure water. This water then passes through an activated charcoal filter to finally remove any trace impurities.

How does it compare to bottled water?

You would be surprised at how many pollutants there are in bottled water AND it is expensive.

Most bottled water is more expensive than petrol. Using our water distiller the cost of water works out at about 9p a litre over a typical year of use.

Look at the picture above with the brown scum that gets left behind after distillation.  We ran our water distiller for 7 days doing 4 litres of tap water a day. This is what was left behind.

How do home water distillers compare to other forms of water purification?

The two most common other forms of filtration are activated charcoal filter and reverse osmosis. Of these reverse osmosis is the more advanced technique.

Our tests show steam distillation is more effective than either carbon filtration or reverse osmosis. See the test results for yourself in the graph at the top of the page. This graph shows the amount of impurities removed in a test sample, the green line is our water distiller

It is incredibly easy to use - how to set up and use video at bottom of page

Your water distiller produces 4 litres of absolutely pure water in five to six hours.

All you do is fill it up, switch it on and let it run.

It drips the water into a BPA-free polypropylene container which is designed to fit easily into a fridge and also fits inside the water distiller for easy transportation. It turns itself off automatically - you do not have to worry about it overheating.

What health professionals think about the benefits of distilled water:

"Even tap water invariably contains a variety of poisons such as chlorine, chloramine, asbestos, pesticides, fluoride, copper, mercury and lead. The best way to remove these is by distilling" - Dr David Kennedy

"The only minerals that the body utilises are the organic minerals.  All other types of minerals are foreign substances to the body and must be eliminated. Distilled water is the only water that can be taken into the body without damage to the tissues". - Dr Allen Banik

"The body's need for minerals is largely met through foods, not drinking water." - American Medical Association

"The greatest damage done by inorganic minerals is to the small arteries and other blood vessels of the brain (75% water). Hardening of the arteries and calcification of blood vessels starts on the day you start taking inorganic chemicals and minerals from tap water into your body." - Dr Paul Bragg

FAQs

Is it BPA free?
Yes, the plastic jug is BPA-free polypropylene.  If you are still worried you can always buy the deluxe glass jug option.

Do we need to use the charcoal filters?
The charcoal filters out volatile organic compounds (VOCs), things like pesticides and solvents. Apart from removing these nasty chemicals the charcoal filtration also makes the water taste better.

Why does the water taste different?
Pure distilled water tastes different to normal tap water, sometimes it takes a little bit of getting used to. Believe me, when you are used to it, tap water suddenly tastes disgusting!

Where's the jug?
Inside the distiller.

How much does distillation cost?
7-9p a litre.

How long does it take to distil?
Usually 5-6 hours for 4 litres of water.

Also there is a lot of misinformation around about distilled water and water distillers, take a look at our article entitled Nine Myths about Drinking Distilled Water (and why they are complete twaddle).
